地藏Dizang is the bodhisattva of the Great Vow - A vow not to achieve buddhahood until all hells are
emptied.
Borrowing the name, the band 地藏Dizang formed in 2019. The Shanghai based quartet explore progressive rock, experimental sounds, ethnic music, and whatever comes to mind/heart.
